Commercial Description:
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It's aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Bottle: Pours a light copper color wih a nice creamy head and good lacing. The nose is hoppy with a light crispy citrusy note along with orange rind and sharp lemon juice. A bit of pale malt shows through, but it doesn’t smell like it will be too sweet. The flavor isn’t bitter at all with a light hoppy bitterness and some very simple sugars to liven it up. A decent body and mouthfeel. A bit thin in the finish but it’s drawn out to extend its welcome. Decent pale ale.

Pours a hazy, pale amber with a good, white head. The aroma is a juicy orange hoppiness. Light bodied malt, a touch of cracker, but easy drinking without being too boring.

On tap. Clear light golden coloured with a medium sized head. Very nice level of bitterness. Hoppy and malty with a hint of honey and pines - wellbalanced and slightly fruity.

12oz bottle from cbkschubert; Nose of hops, a little orange, and maybe some casaba, unlike any other (out of 480) I’ve tried.Clear gold with a small white head; Flavor is hoppy bitter combined with a sweet friut taste that smacks of fresh peaches, but I didn’t get the exact same thing from the nose. Unusal and I think underrated!

Scottsdale, Az, - Albertson’s - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour with a persistent, soft, white fluffy head that sticks around. Aroma is slightly peppery with some artificial glue notes. Flavor has some fruity notes - pick up melons, grapefruit. Good underlying biterness permeates throughout. Mouthfeel is a tad on the stinging side, bt does not detract. Overall, a decent EPA.
