Commercial Description:
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It's aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Thanks to FalcoAlto. 12 oz bottle poured a light and clear orange, with a small quick fading white head. Nose was malt and caramel, but thin. Taste was quite hoppy, which was a surprise since none was in the nose. Smelling back, I catch some fruit in the nose. Finish was nice and dry. Good surprise!

Thanks to either FlacoAlto or Beerhandy for this one. Very mild hop aroma. Tea colored with a finger thick firm white head. Hoppy/citrus notes with a bit of bread maltiness beneath. Watery feel to it, but it tastes very good. Actually pretty thirst quenching.

Cloudy orange color with a thin head. Aroma has a whiff of grapefruit. The taste is pretty mild with a dash of grain and a very weak bitter finish. Good session brew.

12 oz bottle. Clody gold with a big head. Aroma is really balanced between sweet malt, hops and a nice English yeast. The taste is very balanced as well with some nice citrus notes and a crisp hoppiness. This is surprisingly good with a nice dry finish. Very well done.

Pours a brilliantly clear, copper color. It is topped by a frothy, quickly disappearing tan head. The aroma is pretty malty with notes of toasted grain. There is also a solid note of citrus in the aroma from the hops. The taste is quite dry up front, and finishes with a solid bitterness that in combination with the carbonation adds a satisfying sharp bite. The hops are present in the flavor as well, both a nice citrus note as well as a pine note are quite evident.

This beer is a pleasant surprise, I grabbed it on a lark, and the ample hop presence is quite nice. I get notes of orange peel, grapefruit, and toasted biscuits. Quite nice, and I am glad I picked it up.

On tap: Poured a very nice dark gold color. Had a nice large steady head, not too much carbination or lacing. Had a hoppy aroma to it with citrus tones, and definitly in the taste.
