Commercial Description:
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It's aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Bottle from hellbilly. Thanks man! Pours a amber/copper with a thin head. The aroma is nice and floral with some citrus as well. Malt comes through as a little sweet and bready with caramel and toffee as well. Nice floral/fruity hops up front with a nice malt middle - bread, caramel, toffee and a medium hoppy finish. Pretty fruity. Light yet flavorful. The best I had that evening, but I don’t know if that says too much.

Bottle at an unassuming western themed little place on Scottsdale’s Old Town (don’t recall the name). Clear light copper supporting a thin tan head. Earthy, biscuity aroma and flavors of caramel, mild toffee, milk chocolate and toasted malt. Silky mouthfeel and a snappy finish. A nice easy drinking session ale.

12 oz. bottle from a 6-pack the brother brought back from his trip to Arizona. Pours a typical orangish amber hue with a decent white head and good carbonation. Aromas are malty with Northwest hop profile that really gets me excited for this bad boy. Initial taste is a little watery with a decent malt profile and very little of the hops I expected from the nose. Bready malty flavor is decent, but the trick the nose played on me isn’t too kind. Get a little bit of the hops in the aftertaste. An ok beer and highly sessionable... would have been great if it gave out what it’s aroma promised.

A brit-style malted ESB that accents the sweet notes in the beer throughout and pairs great with chocolate. Savory aromas and character from the hops carry the beer onto the palate. Quaffable. Good integration of hops on the tongue and a nice finish.

Got this as a bonus beer from Shyam. Thanks! Pours a light orange, slightly translucent with a very foamy white head that took a while to settle. Color wise, it doesn’t look like a typical ESB. Smells only mildly malty, a little grassy with some mild lemon coming through. Flavor is very weak, some light malt flavor, slight sugar, a touch of clove perhaps. Very weak and watery on the palate. Nothing wrong with this brew, but you’ll forget about this even before you finish the glass.
