Commercial Description:
Our award winning 8th Street Ale is based on an English-style "Best Bitter" which is the most common ale served in British pubs. What makes 8th Street Ale uncommon is its mellow bitterness and its slightly sweet malt flavor. It's aroma is derived from rare, imported Kentish hops, and lots of them.

Sampled at the brewery. Slight haze with orange/amber color. Nice hop presence on nose with notes of citrus and grass. Maltiness is present in the middle and finishes a bit sweet. An easy drinking ESB.

via Bockyhorsey via Fantasy Baseball Cloudy amber color with a nice frothy head. Subtle bitterness with sweet malt to smooth it over at the end. Pretty good brew.

Draft - dark gold to copper body with a beige head. A hint of dusty hops in the nose. A touch of malt in the flavor. Some of the hops in the finish. Okay, not great.

tap @ in tempe in a monsoon...nice orange golden color. sweet malts are the only things i could pull from the aroma (lots of fans and a thunderstorm). flavor is sweet malt/toffee with a nice grapefruit citrus balance. great session beer for waiting out the rain!! as with the kiltlifter, i’m sure this will be more pronounced from a bottle.

For a beer that puts itself into a bitter category, it is pretty smooth. The bars shouldn’t serve it so damn cold but I have adjusted my ratings as if it were served at the correct temperature. Carmel and toffee finish doesn’t overpower but doesn’t last long either. Great color and weight. A great beer for sitting at the bar with friends. You could drink it all day long. Just make sure you have a comfortable landing spot, these will catch up to you.
