| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2006 On tap at brewpub. Great american hop aroma with a thick, white head. Nice bitterness with just a touch of malt flavor. I love the hops in this one. Their best beer by far. cbkschubert (2008), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 2, 2006 This beer is excellent. Typical pale ale color. Light white head. Great hop aroma. Smooth bitterness with lots of hop flavor. Best Four Peaks beer. I wish they would bottle this sucker. Good stuff. BuckNaked (1209), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2006 On draught at Tempe brewpub: This should be classified as an IPA. Pours to a light golden body with orange-copper tints. Atop it sits a medium white, frothy, thick and well retained head. The aroma is fresh, pungent hops smelling of grapefruit, citrus, pine (very bitter), with faint touches of caramel. The taste is citrus, grapefruit, pine, resin, and floral hops, really just showcasing all the wonderfully fresh west-coast style hop flavors that can be packed into a beer, leaving the sweet caramel/grain malt flavors to take a backseat. Medium body, moderate carbonation, finishes with lasting resiny hop flavors. Very nice. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2006 On tap. This ale pours a light orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and earthy. A medium bodied Pale Ale/IPA. Malts are caramel and sweet, touch of toffee. Hops are citrusy and floral. A touch earthy as well. Nice balance. This beer tastes like a cross between an American Pale Ale, a India Pale Ale and an Amber. Hoppy without a lot of hop bitterness, with a fair amount of malt sweetness. Definitely not to any style, but an interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with tanacious white had that laced the glass. The hop nose and flavor is distinctly grapefruit with a touch of spruce. Bitter from start to finish, but not overly so. Bit of a grainy aftertaste.
