daddyslick (36), Arizona, USA Mar 23, 2008 This one is distinctly for IPA lovers. This beer focuses most of its hops on aroma. The rest are all for flavoring, very little bitter after taste.
Theis (2495), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 19, 2008 Draught at GABF 2008. Clear yellow - white head. Wet dog, giraf, leverpostej, pate, almost no hops, boring, dissapointing. bhensonb (3137), Woodland, California, USA Oct 15, 2008 Cask at the brewpub in Tempe. Copper color with a foamy white head. Nice pine hop aroma with a bit of citrus. Medium body with lush carbonation. Flavor is resin over caramel background. Finish is pine and floral bitter. Very good. jimbowood (751), Athens, Georgia, USA Sep 30, 2008 draft at the brewpub. Best of the lot, but that’s not saying much. Mildly Hoppy. Nice, but nothing special. fordest (1857), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Sep 16, 2008 Pint at 1702 with FlacoAlto. Very fruity and hoppy on the nose. Malt in there too. Flavors were more citrus hops with grapefruit and tangerine and a rather floral finish. Pretty good. Beerlando (1460), Orlando, Florida, USA Sep 15, 2008 Handbottle from FlacoAlto. Pours a crystal clear, medium golden-amber color. A small, foamy white head settles to a patchy, bubbly layer, scattered micro-spots of lace marking the glass. The aroma shows bright, hoppy citrus notes of grapefruit, orange, and lemon over a light bed of toasty bread notes and delicate toffee. The flavor is the mirror image of the nose, a lightly sweet, toasty malt backdrop with a fresh blend of citrusy hops. Excellent drinkability and supreme balance without any annoying astringency. Medium-light bodied and moderately carbonated, this one goes down really easy. There aren’t many bells and whistles, but sometimes well-executed simplicity is best. Great session IPA.
