Pours a reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel and malt. Tastes of caramel, toffee, fruit, malted barley, and maybe a touch of smoky peat if you try really hard to taste it. Pretty decent local brew, nothing mind shattering but this is still pretty good.

Light amber pour with small white head. Aromas of candy, sweet malt, and a slight smoke. Not too much flavor except in the finish with sweet malt. Nothing special, kinda watery.

bottle courtesy of Sparky27. nice beer... pours a copper color with little to no head. sweet malty aroma... very well balanced over the palate with bulk of the sweetness up front while the more roasty malts are on the sides. good clean strong finish. a very crisp, drinkable beer... wish I could buy it in GA... great session beer.

Great, great dinner beer! Robust yet smooth, sweet smokey flavor, slightly bitter finish resembling a vodka soaked martini olive. I think it’s got great balance and would recommend this ale to anyone!

Good solid brew that you’d be silly not to sample if in the Phoenix area. This isn’t incredible, remarkable, or earth-shattering but no beer brewed here is, unfortunately. Nice copper pour, like the state of AZ...with sweet malt aroma and medium palate. Definitely a session ale for the style.

Amber pour with light carbonation. Nice sweet peat aroma with metallic notes and a bit of hard candy. The flavor in this one was somewhat disappointing as it seems to be somewhat oxidized. Definite cardboard. However, shining through that problem are some nice flavors such as peat, caramel, butter and a touch of bourbon. Medium wet body. Perhaps a fresher sample would show this brew off a little better.

Bottle. Not a huge scottish ale fan, but this works in a pinch. Deep amber color with a light malt aroma, a bit thin on the mouth feel. Nice lacing on the glass. An OK local brew.
