I am very disappointed with Four Peaks, seems they focus on quantity more than quality. doubelknv3 (568), Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Bottle: Amber in color, somewhat darker, moderate foamy off-white head, fairly nice lacing, no noticeable carbonation.   Sweet malty nose, slight caramel and roasted malts, very minor smoke and peat.   Sweet caramel/butterscotch notes up front, malty, with a slight touch of peated malt on the backside.   Very subdued Scottish Ale.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish, a little buttery along with the caramel malts.   Not big, but clean, easy to drink, and quite enjoyable.   A very sessionable Scottish Ale.

Lots of thick malts, but really nothing special. I had an snpa the same night and i thought them to be much of the same. Canadianlush (169), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 8, 2007 On Tap. Pours a dark amber color with a nice tan head. Sweet aroma gives way to a hoppy, malty flavor with hints of caramel. Pretty smooth finish makes for a very drinkable scotch ale. It’s simplicity is the only reason for the average score, Just seemed to lack a great deal of character.
