From Sparky27 via trade. Poured a dull, clear brown color with a short lived white head. The aroma was very malty and lightly spicy. The flavor was lots of malt, light spice, smoke and sugar. The mouthfeel was thin. The finish lingered with a bit of sugar and smoke. Scottish Ale Light.

Pours a hazy amber colorw with medium foamy khaki head. Nose of strong apples, cidar, earthy. Initial taste of earthiness/resin with sharp apples. Carbonation is above average with lots of micro bubbles on the mouthfeel. Mid to finish is ok, but very one dimensional. Average head retention and palate. Light body.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a very light amber with burnt gold hues, off-white head. Aroma of some apple juice????weird. Flavor of some malt, faint apple......dry. Mouthfeel is light-medium body with high carbonation, kinda watery though. Overall, not bad.

Bottle. Nose-apple juice, twigs, leafs, tea. Body-medium brown with a thick ring of bubbles and an island of filmy bubbles. Taste-camphor, tea, some muted sweetish hops, very enjoyable. I can’t quite articulate what is so good abut this beer, but I like it!

12 oz bottle courtesy of Sparky27. Pour is clear copper golden with a nice, lasting 2 inch off white head. Pretty streaky lacing. Aroma of dirty toasted maltiness, some mild fruit sweetness, a bit of burnt peat. Taste is harsh immediately, dirty peat maltiness, mixed in with acidic artificial sweetener. Pretty abrasive stuff. Palate is medium, a bit cloying and far more alcohol is present than there should be. Thanks for sending this Eric.

Draft at Hilton Garden Inn in Phoenix. Just an okay ale. Maltiness (no hops anywhere) is all I get. Could have been too cold but I didn’t get any level of complexity and all taste dissipates quickly.
