Light smokey aroma (peat) with a little malt and caramel. Clear caramel amber color with an active white head that quickly dissipated to a thin head. Malty flavor with some smokiness and light hops to balance. Finishes with some malty sweetness. Moderate mouthfeel with carbonation fizzing on the tongue.

Amber color; creamy head. Very light caramel aroma. Light caramel flavor, round body, correctly bitter. Quite boring.

Sampled at the Pizza Factory outside the Grand Canyon. Strong off-white head. Taste is pure bleh. I was excited to have an Arizona beer. I shoulda ordered the Giddyup. Medium amber orange in color. Worthy of the drain.

On tap at various places in Scottsdale and Phoenix, including Camelback golf course. Pours a copper red brown, thin off-white head. Sweet toffee aroma, mild earthy nuances. Sweet caramel flavours, almost too sweet after a while, with a light whiskey-ish peatiness. Not bad.

12 oz bottle Thanks to Byaeger (Brian) for this extra. First beer from AZ, 2nd Sottish Ale. Clear brown color that looks a lot like root beer. White head. Malty aroma with caramel notes. Rye-like flavor with more caramel and some raisin notes. Not bad all.

Tap at Tempe. Pours a clear copper color with a small tan head. Aroma is of peated malt, caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is malty, caramel, honey, light smokiness from the peated malt. Nice beer.

Copper color. Very dry, peaty nose. Mouth is very malty, with a touch of whisky and peat. Hops are almost unnoticeable. Dry peaty finish.
