Commercial Description:
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Draft w/ bockyhorsey and wife at 4P. Pour was golden with lots of carbonation bubbles rising, thin head, didn’t stick around long, and the lacing was weak. The aroma was fruity, lacking graininess. The flavor was fruity, esters and citrus both detectable, not enough malt below it though, some graininess, near nil bready or similar character. A style that’s hard to find well-done here in the states, this one surely didn’t contend as a "real" one. Mouthfeel light and slightly watery.

Aroma and appearance are a bit lacking. Clear light blonde with zero head retention and a mostly non-existent nose with hints of earthy pine. Unfortunately I was hoping this would quench my thirst on a hot Arizona day but no luck... Body was thin and flavor? What flavor not much to this one. There are definitely more true to style Kolsch beers out there.

Draft. No notes, going on memory. Clear gold in color with thin white head. Aroma is moderately malty and grassy with maybe some wet cardboard. Medium bodied with light fizzy carbonation. Finish was grassy and lightly bitter with some light citrus. I thought it refreshing and good and cannot comment on it’s trueness to style.

Draft at the brewpub (Tempe location). Clear golden color with a thin white head that laced the glass. Smelled of subdued grassy hops, light grain, and some cardboard. Fresh malty cereal grain, white bread, and light sprucy hop flavors. Crisp, clean finish.

Tap. Clear golden pour, with very little head. Very light. Sweet aroma. Sprakling look. Not a fan of this style but a nice offering.

Clear, bright yellow with a thin straw colored head. Lively floral bouquet. Lemony, peppery flavor. Well balanced, slightly dry and crisp.

On tap. Clear light golden coloured with a small head. Both malty and hoppy with hints of fruit and honey. Nice and refreshing.
