Commercial Description:
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

On tap. Clear light golden coloured with a small head. Both malty and hoppy with hints of fruit and honey. Nice and refreshing.

On tap @ Four Peaks poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, a hint of honey and light citrus with a crisp clean finish.

Very pale with very little white head. A little German hop aroma. Some spicey bitterness that finishes clean and dry. Not a bad try at a kolsch.

I’m assuming that this is the same thing as "Dog Days Summer Ale". Good and crisp, a Kolsch done right. Very pale. Not complex but forthright. German-hoppy finish.

tap at four peaks-pours a golden yellow hue with a small fizzy white head. some sparse lacing. Aroma is citric mostly with mildly fruity/flowery notes but no spicy character like a true german kolsh. More a golden ale with american hops than any kolsh i have had. flavors are sweet-good malt base-slightly grainy and nice body. This went very well on a hot day in Tempe. Not true to style, but still definately a good beer.

This beer sits a pale straw color in my glass. It is topped by a wispy pale colored head. The aroma is lightly spicy with hops and it has a grainy note to it as well as a bit of soft fruitiness. This beer, as expected, is quite light on the palate, and it quickly disappears after one takes a swallow. The taste is lightly spicy with a nice mellow herbal taste. This beer finishes with a bit of bitterness. This is certainly a well made light beer, just not what I am looking for in a beer. This beer is lightly balanced between hop flavor, bitterness, and a bit of malt with some fruity notes.

Easy drinking brew. Had some sweet flavor to it. Yellow body not much head. Good beer to have in Az now the temps are reaching 100 degrees. Just remember if from out of town one beer means you should have one glass of water.

Kolsch-Dog Days Summer Ale
Yellow with a small dissipating head and lacing. Sweet candy like aroma and flavor with a very light hop finish. This is a good refreshing summer beer!
