Commercial Description:
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Slightly hazy straw colour. Light, husky, light bitterness (~20). Maybe some grassiness but mostly a clean straw taste. Not terribly kolsch-like.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, cereal, and light florals. Flavor of toasted grain, cereal, and grass with light bitterness in the finish.

On tap in Tempe as Sunbru Kolsch. Pale gold color with a white head. Not much aroma. Flavor is lightly citrus over pale malt. Near medium body. Clean. Refreshing.

On tap @ Four Peaks poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, a hint of honey and light citrus with a crisp clean finish.

Draft at the brewpub (Tempe location). Clear golden color with a thin white head that laced the glass. Smelled of subdued grassy hops, light grain, and some cardboard. Fresh malty cereal grain, white bread, and light sprucy hop flavors. Crisp, clean finish.

I’m assuming that this is the same thing as "Dog Days Summer Ale". Good and crisp, a Kolsch done right. Very pale. Not complex but forthright. German-hoppy finish.

Scottsdale location. The beer was called Sunbru Kölsch so I put the rating here. The beer pours to a transparent golden body with a white head and decent lacing. The aroma is crisp hops and pale malts. The flavor is crisp, clean grains, and spicy hops. Very nice for the style. Hoppy and crisp. Refreshing. Nice for the "summer".
