Commercial Description:
A very light golden ale that is malty sweet, almost honey-like in the nose. This ale has a light to medium body and a very delicate flavor. Easy drinking, it has very low bitterness and a soft dry finish.

Kolsch-Dog Days Summer Ale
Yellow with a small dissipating head and lacing. Sweet candy like aroma and flavor with a very light hop finish. This is a good refreshing summer beer!

Nice clean example of a kolsch. The color was of light straw and it had a very authentic flavor resembling good german kolsch beers i’ve had in Cologne. Nice job.

Clear, bright yellow with a thin straw colored head. Lively floral bouquet. Lemony, peppery flavor. Well balanced, slightly dry and crisp.

I didn’t have a problem with this beer at all. I was with nbutler11 and made the more storied move of committing to a full pint rather than the sampler shot. What I saw was a beer much lighter in color than the Kolsch I had in Cologne, Germany. It was much lighter as well, with watery fruit notes (underripe orange) and mild wheat - oddly no yeast or flour. This seems to be for anyone who wants something more fortified than a wit but doesn’t want to kick it up to an ale - in a college town, not sure who this would be...

Draft. No notes, going on memory. Clear gold in color with thin white head. Aroma is moderately malty and grassy with maybe some wet cardboard. Medium bodied with light fizzy carbonation. Finish was grassy and lightly bitter with some light citrus. I thought it refreshing and good and cannot comment on it’s trueness to style.

Light gold...minimal aroma or head. Easy and light with slight honey, golden raisin...nice for a session brew. On tap at Tempe brewery.

Scottsdale location. The beer was called Sunbru Kölsch so I put the rating here. The beer pours to a transparent golden body with a white head and decent lacing. The aroma is crisp hops and pale malts. The flavor is crisp, clean grains, and spicy hops. Very nice for the style. Hoppy and crisp. Refreshing. Nice for the "summer".

Listed under dog days Kolsch @papago. Mild malty aroma. Semi-sweet flavor, caramel is in there lingering. Leans more to a Nut-brown, a little toasted malt character, quick and dry. Hop character is smooth and light. Leaves a nice dry pleansant aftertaste.
