growler to go from tempe... pours a dark ruby brown color with a big light khaki head. medium sweet caramel malt aroma with notes of coffee, smoke, toasted nuts and iced tea. there’s some very light cocoa in the flavor along with nuttiness, grain, grass, tingly hops and a dry finish. the palate is never as sweet as the aroma leads me to believe. medium body with a dry prickly mouth feel. it’s kinda boring but refreshing to drink a lot of on a hot day...

Tap @ Tempe.
A thin bodied brown ale with a light aroma and flavor of sweet roasty malt, nuts and caramel. Nice, easy drinking beer.
Not bad.

Tap @ Tempe. Aroma was mainly a mild to medium sweet malt with some smokey and coffee aromas as well. Dark body with mahagany hue and thin head. Mild flavors of smoke, roast and bitterness. Body has a watered down presence and somewhat metalic flavor also. Intriging beer good mix of aromas and flavors. Smooth on the palate good ber to have with lunch.

Excellent brown ale, with a full body, rich flavor, and a suttle after taste. It is not just a clever name.

aroma of butter, nuts, caramel, and toffee. sticky head and very moderate amber. taste is again nuts and light hops that make this light and refreshing. light-med mouthfeel, yet firm.
