I had an whiskey barrel batch of this beer. Very strong whiskey flavor. It was definently a big beer but in the hot summer clime I could only drink one. I wish they had air conditioning. Beer was strong, dark and big. More like a stout than a porter IMHO.

THis is an awesome porter that has all the aspects of a good porter that you need.. Pours a deep brown in color with a slight off-white head... Aromas of coffee, chocolate and rasins and flavors of the same.... Very impressed.

Good while it lasted, toasty and rich, robust, caramel and malts in the nose and a nice hopd spicy bite, discontinued?
