Commercial Description:
A strong India Pale Ale that is marked by intense hop flavor and high hop bitterness. This style of beer needed the high hop and alcohol to survive the trip around Africa. Medium to light body and very bitter.

On tap. Clear golden coloured with a small head. Feels a bit too sharp. Hoppy and piny and a bit dry. Could be more wellbalanced.

On tap @ Four Peaks poured a clear copper with a creamy lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry bitter finish.

Standard IPA. Nothing about this beer excites me enough to try it again. A little too thin for an IPA.

On Tap: Pours a deep golden, almost brown color with some nice lacing and good head and retention. There was a wall of head along the shaker throughout much of the beer. The aroma was suprisingly hoppy I thought with some rather sweet aromas. (Although it was hard to tell because the entire brewpub smelled of hops and barley) There was a very good flavor and it was a tasty beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear copper color with off white head that laced the glass. Aroma is dominated by floral hops and a hint of alcohol. The hop flavor and bitterness is well balanced a touch of caramel sweetnes. Bitterness is up front mostly.

This beer is a full copper color with ruby highlights to it. It is brilliantly clear and is topped by a pale wispy head that has quite a bit of staying power to it. The aroma is an enticing mixture of grapefruit, bergamot, tangerine, and a hint of pine. It has a smooth creamy mouthfeel to it and it finishes with a solid bitterness that is intermingled by notes of pine and bitter orange peel. This beer is slightly malty sweet, which accentuates the citrusy hop character quite well. I really like the sharp biting character of this beer, and it is pretty light on the palate as well.
