| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 10, 2006 Standard IPA. Nothing about this beer excites me enough to try it again. A little too thin for an IPA. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2006 On Tap: Pours a deep golden, almost brown color with some nice lacing and good head and retention. There was a wall of head along the shaker throughout much of the beer. The aroma was suprisingly hoppy I thought with some rather sweet aromas. (Although it was hard to tell because the entire brewpub smelled of hops and barley) There was a very good flavor and it was a tasty beer. GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear copper color with off white head that laced the glass. Aroma is dominated by floral hops and a hint of alcohol. The hop flavor and bitterness is well balanced a touch of caramel sweetnes. Bitterness is up front mostly. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2005 This beer is a full copper color with ruby highlights to it. It is brilliantly clear and is topped by a pale wispy head that has quite a bit of staying power to it. The aroma is an enticing mixture of grapefruit, bergamot, tangerine, and a hint of pine. It has a smooth creamy mouthfeel to it and it finishes with a solid bitterness that is intermingled by notes of pine and bitter orange peel. This beer is slightly malty sweet, which accentuates the citrusy hop character quite well. I really like the sharp biting character of this beer, and it is pretty light on the palate as well.
