In the event, I was pleasantly surprised. Amber/gold colour with plenty of hoppy goings on. A solid effort. Cask (gravity dispense), Cambridge Beer Festival, May 2005.

Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Malty pleasant aroma with notes of apricot and honey. Moderately malty flavour, moderate hops. Certainly no "IPA" by American standards, but a drinkable ale all the same. maeib (4766), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

A copper coloured bitter with a nicely hoppy orange fruit aroma. The taste is full and gloopy with nice hop measures. A tasty beer which is a good attempt at an IPA.
