Aroma is biscut malts and hints of grassy hops, but already you can tell its under hopped. Taste is same as aroma, id go as far as to say its sweet.

Cask, Loughborough Fest 07. Orange, brown with a small head. Aromas are floral with spices. Caramel and toffee malts with some pine. Flavours are sweet malts with pine and citrus. Pear fruitiness with lemon shred marmalade. Herbal with a dry finish. Pretty good.

1/2 pint cask, Cloisters, Edinburgh. Deep golden with a reddish hue and an off-white inconsistent head. Little aroma except some sourish hoppy notes. Gentle flavours. Nice and malty with only a little bitterness. Neutral finish without being watery. Malts come through nicey.

I was a bit wary of this as I’d heard bad things about Fowlers beers, but it was a new brewery for me so had to be done. In the event, I was pleasantly surprised. Amber/gold colour with plenty of hoppy goings on. A solid effort. Cask (gravity dispense), Cambridge Beer Festival, May 2005.

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Malty pleasant aroma with notes of apricot and honey. Moderately malty flavour, moderate hops. Certainly no "IPA" by American standards, but a drinkable ale all the same.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Cambridge BF. A copper coloured bitter with a nicely hoppy orange fruit aroma. The taste is full and gloopy with nice hop measures. A tasty beer which is a good attempt at an IPA.
