daknole (2802), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 16, 2009 Light gold pour. Not much head. Crisp and sweet pears in the aroma and flavor. Very refreshing and very easy to drink. Very good for the style. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 7, 2009 Bottle. Real good pear aroma on the nose just like the fruit. Fizzy bubbles all over the pint glass. Hazy gold body with head that fizzled out quick. Fruit pear flavored jucie with some carbination to it. Decent refreshment after working outside in the heat for couple of hours. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2009 Light golden fizzy pour with little head. Nose is Bartlett pear. Tastes peary, with a nice natural pear flavor. A bit watery, with spare carbonation. Refreshing. rustychiles (997), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 13, 2009 Pours an almost transparent light champagne yellow with a small fizzy ring for a head and lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is orchard, pears, apples and alight acidity. Flavor is juicy pears, golden apples, light sweetnews and a touch of cidery sourness. Easy to drink loads of carbonation and fairly one dimensional. Decent perry cider. Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 10, 2009 Draft. A light golden perry with no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of pears. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruits and berries as well as notes of berries, leading to a dry finish. hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA May 31, 2009 clear pour is a pale straw color with a short lived white head.
intoxicating aroma.... so floral and sweet tree fruit... pears, flowers and straw... unfortunately, that is about it. it is quite one dimensional as is the flavor... earthy, fruity, a tiny bit musty and a bit sweet with a long lasting floral aftertaste. i know that there are additives and artificials in here but... it’s pretty damn good. especially as the heat gets more oppressive.
medium body and easy drinking. carbonation is crisp but somewhat subdued... 8/3/6/3/14/3.4
BMan1113VR (2755), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA May 20, 2009 Bottle stamped 2009. Pours a clear, pale gold with no head. Aroma is sweet and spritzy with pear and what reminds me of Clearly Canadian’s soda lineup. Taste seems like artificial pear, soda and sweetners. Very light bubbles, dry and thin. Very sweet and sticky. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 4, 2009 Ft. Myers, Fl. - Total Wines - 12 oz bottle - pours a very light golden with little to no head. Clean aroma with hints of pears and golden delicious apples. Crisp pear flavor that is somewhat natural tasting and not overly sweet. Mouhtfeel is clean and crisp. Pleasantly surprised.
