Commercial Description:
Our Hard Pear Cider is a dryer, soft bodied cider which is light and refreshing. It’s an excellent candidate in situations where you might consider a dry Gewurtztraminer or champagne. Excellent with fruits, cheeses and salads, this light beverage is also a great brunch choice. Try it with orange juice for a "Fox-mosa".

clear pour is a pale straw color with a short lived white head. intoxicating aroma.... so floral and sweet tree fruit... pears, flowers and straw... unfortunately, that is about it. it is quite one dimensional as is the flavor... earthy, fruity, a tiny bit musty and a bit sweet with a long lasting floral aftertaste. i know that there are additives and artificials in here but... it’s pretty damn good. especially as the heat gets more oppressive. medium body and easy drinking. carbonation is crisp but somewhat subdued... 8/3/6/3/14/3.4

Bottle stamped 2009. Pours a clear, pale gold with no head. Aroma is sweet and spritzy with pear and what reminds me of Clearly Canadian’s soda lineup. Taste seems like artificial pear, soda and sweetners. Very light bubbles, dry and thin. Very sweet and sticky.

Ft. Myers, Fl. - Total Wines - 12 oz bottle - pours a very light golden with little to no head. Clean aroma with hints of pears and golden delicious apples. Crisp pear flavor that is somewhat natural tasting and not overly sweet. Mouhtfeel is clean and crisp. Pleasantly surprised.

Smells fantastic, like a perry should. Tastes sweet and slightly soda-like. Could probably use a little more carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid cider.

Pours like a white wine very light in color. Aroma is pears. Taste is like a light champagne mixed with pear juice. Easy drinking and refreshing. Label indicates pear juice added and contains sulphites like almost all wines. They are used as a sterilizing agent. Since I don’t get along with sulphites it went down the drain. Ironically I received it in a "Beers of the World" twelve pack.

pours a very flat looking, light clear champagne color. Smell is very thin and watery, with light cider like fruit aroma, perhaps. Taste is dry, and delicate. Somewhat thin and watery with pear and champagne like flavor with soft carbonation. Thin body. Pretty drinkable.

Wow, this stuff is actually good, unlike most of the other ciders I’ve tried. Tastes of pears and a little apple, with a champagne character in the mouth. Not great, but pleasant.
