Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Semi hazy light amber with small to medium, creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet citrus and caramel with a little grain and cardboard. Flavor is sweet grapfruit like malt, yeast, caramel, chalky, some bitterness. Medium body with large bubbled carbonation. Haven’t had a chalky beer in quite a while, ah the memories.

12oz bottle 2/6/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a hazy yellowish/golden with a small tight white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and a bit of dough. Taste of malt, hops, caramel, and dough. This medium bodied brew is not nearly as bad as people are rating it IMO. Nice brew.

12oz bottle. Pours murky orange with a foamy off-white head. Heavily carbonated. Aroma is of malt, caramel, yeast, and wheat. Taste is of dirty malt, earthy hops, caramel, yeast, and wheat. It’s not bad at all, just very earthy. If you enjoy eating bags of dirt and licking sidewalks, you will enjoy this beer.

I liked this a bit more than the rest of the earlier reviewers. Attractive hazy golden pour. The nose is mainly caramel malt sweetness and bread dough. The flavor is a moderately creamy texture melange of dough, caramel/toffee malt, light earthy hop bitterness. Very drinkable. Thanks Cornfield!

Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Orland Park, IL. It poured a slightly hazed light amber/orange body with a decent head that didn’t want to visit for long. It has a bready malt aroma with a hint of soured tangerines. Grainy, sweet flavor with a touch of caramel and a very light hop bitterness. Dry finish. Not worth repeating.
