Chugged from the bottle whilst listening to DJ Monarch on Ineffect Radio. Soft soap, lemony fizz, resin seeps, the last mouthful of lemon meringue with just a hint of the biscuit base. Ruddy wonderful.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is toffee and hopped, and the flavour is sour, grassy and hopped. Overall an average hopped beer.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Lemony/hoppy pretty good. Nice lemon curd flavour in the mouth. Decent hop on the finish too. APA? Not sure, but a decent golden ale.

Bottled. A hazy light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with citrusy notes of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrusy hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Cask. Golden colour with small white foamy head. Aroma is strong fruityness along with some mild grass and hints of hebral notes. Flavour is quite strong grassy and fruity along with some slight notes of honeylike sweetness. Pleasant.

Cask, gravity, at Cambridge Beer Festival ’09. Gold with a small white head. Intense and somehow unconvincing lemony hop aroma, though to be fair it matures into quite a pleasant grassiness with some yeast. Festival tasting notes promised honey and wheat, and though none was evident, there was a pleasant sweet maltiness and a mid bitter finish. Quite good.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Beers of Europe, Norfolk. Pale yellow, straw with white head. Beer with a distinct astringent hop note, really quite a sharp pine oil flavour, drying without being bitter. Lemony citrus notes too even if a little thin on the palate. Not bad though and quite drinkable.
