JPDIPSO (4267), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 11, 2008 Dark copper color with a moderate, creamy taupe head. Distal alert. Lots of butterscotch in the nose along with caramel and a hint of herbal hops. Caramel, light earth, peaches and herbs in the flavors. An English ale with some German accents. Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 19, 2008 Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear light caramel amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring and no film top. Aroma of dry caramel malt, some flowery hops with a touch of dry herbal spice. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with some dry caramel malt flavors and a touch of honey. Finish is semi-dry, crisp and nearly clean cut with hardly no aftertaste. Ughsmash (3071), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Feb 20, 2006 On tap at F.R. Appleton. Poured a clear, light caramel color with a short cap of white head. Sweet malts provided a nice base for mild floral hoppage in the aroma... caramel throughout, and berries showed up as the brew warmed. Same thing in the flavor... caramel and berry sweetness and a mild floral bitterness.. also found a nice honey presence in there. Smooth malty middle with diacetyl presence on the edges that wasn’t too welcome. Decent brew and I liked the assortment of flavors.
