Dark amber color with a small head that diminishes to a thin lid of taupe bubbles. Floral caramel aromas, along with some toasted bread and hints of herbal hops. Thicker body, but a touch too much effervescence distracts. Nice and malty, Caramel, toasted grain, some hints of light fruit are all there in the front. Light grass and herbal hops in the middle dry thing out a bit. And lead to a quite bitter and dry finish and linger. Some chocolate and toasted malt wander in and out in the finish and linger as well.
