Bockyhorsey (2032), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 26, 2006 Tap @ Appelton location. Had an dark amber body with thin head tha disipated rather qiuick. Aroma and flavor were both the same some light spicey nut. Not much to this beer kind of bla on the palate as far as a refreshment goes. DavidP (1713), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 22, 2005 Bottle. Clear brown body under a thin, dense light tan head. Mandarin oranges and toasted bread crust in the aroma. Pollen\orange citrus hops over a bready brown malt in makes up the flavor. Metal in the finish. The light mouthfeel is buoyed by a dense carbonation. robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Aug 11, 2005 Brown Copper with White Bubbly Ring. Tried at Hops & Props. Skunky Malt Aroma. Taste Was Similiar. Upon Reading JPdipso’s rate, I’m Hoping It Was a Bad Keg That I Sampled. JPDIPSO (4286), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 23, 2005 Light brown with a touch of topaz. Smaller light tan head that diminishes rather quickly. Toasty malt and a touch of dark caramel in the nose. Some mild peat and oak in the background give it another level of complexity. Light and somewhat airy on the palate. Smooth flavors of mildly toasted malt and a hint of earth. Very easy to quaff. Long linger of lightly roasted malts. Simple, yet very effective.
