On tap at the Bavarian Grill, Plano. Came to the table hazy golden with a formidable frothy white head. Under the nice, clean straw/citrus-forward nose was the distinct aroma that greets you on any brewery tour- that unmistakable, comforting malty, grain scent. Tasted of summer, of bright floral sweetness (almost wildflower honey). Light bodied, mildly carbonated. Would order again.

Dec 28, 2009 crisp yellow with a white head. nose is sweet malts, bread and not much else. very light on the palate, sweet malts and a hint of bread in the finish.

Nov 5, 2009 On tap at the Gingerman in Fort Worth. Yellow pour. Very small citrus aroma. Pleasant malt and grain flavor, but a little buttery.

Aug 19, 2009 out of a franco keg thanks to swalden28. poured yellow with a nice white head and some great lacing. aroma was citrus and grains. flavor was grains and citrus as well. light body and pretty refreshing. dennis makes some great beers, but this is not one of my favorites. just not a fan of the style.

Jul 8, 2009 Got this on tap into a pint glass at J&J’s pizza in Denton.
Pours like a pale lager but decent 1 finger head and mild lacing. Not much going on here with the smell, but there is sweet pale malt, and coriander. Taste is heavy on lemon, nicely sweet if unbalanced in that direction. Spices like coriander, and maybe spicy cinnamon too. Lingers nicely on the mouth, no bitterness. Carbonation is slightly low, and slightly thin body but overall solid. Very easy to drink, can become slightly cloying though. A recommended kolsch but not in the upper tier of the style.

Jul 6, 2009 Had out of Franco keg....Pours a light blond with nice white creamy head. Aroma is malt, grain and citrusy, very nice. Flavor is very malty, grain, nice refreshing citrus, grass, I also detect some nuts with a satisfying small bitter at the end. Mouth feel is light body with medium-carbonation....Overall, I very much enjoyed this!!!

Jun 23, 2009 (Draught) Pours a clear copper body with a medium creamy white head. Aroma of cereal, grass, grain, subtle spoiled vegetable, and nuts. Flavor of grain, grass, some citrus, and some stale cardboard-like taste.

Jun 5, 2009 Tap at the Gingerman in Dallas. The smell is clean, grass, floral, slight fruits, and grains. The look is clear, golden in color, with white lacy head. The taste is floral, clean, crisp, fruits, and grains.
