fly (1250), austin, Tejas, USA Oct 6, 2008 Tap @ Gman Ft/ Worth. Lacking proper carbonation - near flat, which diminished qualities to such an extent it was difficult to appreciate what was obviously there 0 some good malt flavor and I *think* the body would have held up, but ... I just hope it was a singular keg and not a whole batch. Will look forward to trying other beers from then as they do appear to have something good going on despite my complaint. Swalden28 (712), McKinney, Texas, USA Sep 27, 2008 On tap at McKinney, TX. Oktoberfest.
Pours a great looking deep amber/copper with very nice biege head. Aroma of rich malt, caramel, some spice. Flavor is rich malt, caramel, spice. Mouthfeel is light-medium with high carbonation.....Overall, VERY good Oktoberfest!!!! Tasty! jujubeast6000 (551), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 21, 2008 (Tap @ Old Monk Cafe, Dallas, TX): Brown reddish color body, almost non-existant white head. Malty grapey aroma, but not very strong. Nutty taste, some fruity grapeness. Some dustiness. Okay for an oktoberfest. bleeng (335), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA Sep 17, 2008 On tap at Flying Saucer Addison. Color is hard to tell given the low lighting. Nose is very light with some malty overtones. Tasty malty, sweet and a tad spicy. Medium palate and lingers just a bit on the end. Overall a drinkable Octoberfest and enjoyable but nothing memorable.
