Clear light brown with a small head. Decent lacing. Aromas of clean malt and a touch of earth. Flavors of nutty, slightly roasty malt with a dry, bitter finish. Some hop flavor, mostly a boatload of Munich malt. Easy drinking in a Pete’s Wicked kind of way. But costs considerably more. Hard to find Alts at a liquor store, so I will give credit for the attempt.

Bottled:
Fresh, light fruity aroma. Brown to bronze color, creamy head. Taste ist grainy, barley notes, bitter. Light metallic, some roasted malt notes. Reminds me on a bad pilsener or mass product.

Brown pour. Big off white head. Very nice lacing. Very clear. Malt and earth aroma with alcohol undertones. Light body. Easy to drink. Bitter taste that mirrors the aroma with a dry finish. Not bad, not excellent.

Drank from a pint glass. This is my first altbier, so I really didn’t know what to expect. It poured with a healthy white head with a good amount of lacing. It was brown with good clarity. Head didn’t linger forever though...ready to drink quickly. Aroma is kind of straw with pine taste that finishes a little bitter with a light alcohol taste. All in all, an average beer.

Chestnut color with a beige head. The taste is a sweet malty light nutty body with a rather thin and boring finish.

Dark amber colour with off white head. Malty aroma with some sweetness. Flavor is malty with hints of yeast and a bit of sourness.
