Aug 17, 2009 A unique, nice beer to drink. The head was fair, but colour was quite nice. Aroma and taste were both interesting and different from most other beers I’ve tried.

May 19, 2009 50cl bottle poured into an altbier glass. Pours clear amber brown with quickly diminishing two finger head. Nose is raspberries in the beginning. Once the head dissipates, the aroma nearly disappears completely. Flavor is earthy, wood-like, and sort of roasty. Palate is a bit fizzy yet still smooth. Finish is long and hoppy. This is my first altbier and I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it was going to be overly bitter. Although it is quite hoppy, I am pleasantly suprised by its drinkability.

May 9, 2009 Botella, courtesy of Pinball. "Qualität unter dem Schutz des Falken". Clear amber brown colour. Medium fairly well alsting white ehad. Sweet dark bready fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. Sweet bready roasty caramel and malty flavour. Nice.

aroma is dark fruits, toffee, bread
flavor is faint roasted grains, dark or heavy roasted caramel, bitterhops, caramelly. sort of like a concentrated macro. nice.

Mar 12, 2009 The color is dark amber and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, and the finish is dry with a touch of citrus.

Feb 8, 2009 0.33l bottle from Germany, pours a dark copper-brown with a thin light brown head. Sweet malty aroma, balanced dry/malty body, slightly nutty and spicy, with a drying finish. Good lasting bitterness
