| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2004 Pours crystal clear deep amber with frothy white head. Very attractive toasty, nutty aroma along with the distinct German ale yeast nose. Initial palate is that of lightly roasted malt followed by a bittersweet hop/malt finish. Overall nicely balanced and quite refreshing. thegreenrooster (1835), St.louis, Missouri, USA
