(33cl bottle) So - today I ran in a 5km organized marathon with two friends and he proposed to her. My best wishes! Pours a large, almond, foamy head and a bronze body. Nose of roasted malt. Charcoal flavour with milky undertones. Good. Thanks Rudge75! Congrats to Henry and Judy!

Pours crystal clear deep amber with frothy white head. Very attractive toasty, nutty aroma along with the distinct German ale yeast nose. Initial palate is that of lightly roasted malt followed by a bittersweet hop/malt finish. Overall nicely balanced and quite refreshing.

Pours a brown with a white head. Aroma is a roasted malt and very nutty. Flavor is not there! How can a beer have such a great aroma have no taste? This is the first I have tried of this style im sure i’ll try others but I hope there better than this.

Pours amber with a mild head. Aroma is nutty, floral and roasted. Flavor starts sweet and a little nutty with a nice biiter kick. Mouthfeel is thin and carbonated. A nice uncomplicated brew.

Brown color with small head. Malty aroma and flavor with strange aftertaste which I can’t put my finger on. I don’t think I’ll ever want this again.

Sweet mild malty aroma with yeast and mild pleasant hoppiness. Clear dark brown with pillowy white large bubbled head that lasts nicely. Some lace. Lightly malty, slight charcoal finish. Fair biterness. Nicely balanced. Refreshing light body. Bottle (at Berlin restaurant).

Nice reddish-amber appearance with a large white head. Yeasty, slightly sweet, slightly floral. You could down a few of these and could have them with almost anything.

Deep brown color with a nice white head. Sweet malt aroma. Sweet flavor cut short but just a bit of hop flavor. Easy drinking beer.
