bought in Düsseldorf; 60% altbier and 40% cola - clear copper-brown colour with a poor head retention; the cola dominates the nose and you have to be very imaginative to detect something else ... well, some earthy tones, maybe ? but they could well be some reminiscence of the Uerige I had some hours ago ...; sweet with a poor malt body and a long aftertaste of cola - could work as children lemonade

Bottle 33cl. (Blue bottle) @ home.
Clear medium to dark red brown (cola) color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white cola head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, brown sugar, cola notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. It is like a alt bier mixed with cola. [20090110]

The color is like cola and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of cola and beer. The flavour has sweetness and notes of cola, but the altbier is easy to find, so even if I do not like cola/beer mixes, this is the best I have had.

Bottle: Poured a highly carbonated dark brown with a tan color head. The aroma was malty with hints of dirty cola. Taste is overwhelmingly sweet cola at first, but it subsided to leave a malt grain finish.
