Bottle, 33 cl. Thanks tot Leen. What is this ? Can called this mix a good beer. Brwon color, off-white head. Aroma sweet cola. Thin body. Taste is very sweet, with a bit lots of malt and caramel. No good.

Phew, I did not really understand what it was until I tasted it, apparently reacted weirdly and was explained that this was a mix. The pour gives first suspicions though, it comes out pretty much cola coloured and rather fizzy despite a neglectable head. A gross perversion of an otherwise above average alt, making it rather sweet, though the beer adds a lot of character to this soft drink and the palate manages not to be too biting. Still abominable, that rooty, minty, bubblegum flavour bothers the caramely and cerealic bottom. Bad, but I’m no cola drinker.

Bottle, 2,9%. Cola colour and head. The flavour is mostly cola, but less sweet. Beer mouthfeel. Finishes slightly caramelly and drier than cola. Better than most mixes and actually better than cola straight.

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiiful almost mahogany-colored beer with a vaguely brown head. Another "Mischgetränk" - this time in the rather rare combination of Altbier and cola. And it actually tastes pretty good. Beer is the more pronounced ingredient as this drink is in a 60/40-mix. (Usually it’s 50/50). The cola removes most of the bitterness, but it isn’t sticky. Not bad. 190703

Dark brown body, has a medium white head. Really sweet cola nose. Flavor of cola, some mint.

Smeels like a malt beer, looks and tastes like Coke. A little malt comes through in the flavor, but otherwise this is thin and un-beer-like: no bitter, for instance. Gets worse as you drink more.

Shiver - uhhhh. Mixtures of Altbier and Coke are called Krefelder in Germany, don*t know why but uhhh shiver, it is disgusting. Dark brown color, small off white head - and this i s by far one of the only nice things you can state about this liquid. It smells like coke, sweet and slightly you can imagine the altbier in there. Actually not as sweet in taste as expected but a shivering artificial acidic chemical taste. Yuck.

Bottle, from a supermarket in Köln. A mix of beer and coke sounds like a rock stars dream but turns out to be a complete nightmare. Deep chestnut brown, poor shortlived head and moderate condition. Gentle sweet cola aroma, unremittingly sweet cola in the mouth and an unwarranted second encore of cola in the finish, long after everyone has left the building in disgust.
