Mild aroma and flavor of crisp pilsener malts with floral noble hops and a dry finish. The body is light and the carbonation is lively. The right elements are there but they are not strong enough. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2006 On Tap at the Brewpub Pale off yellow, with a soapy head of white. Aroma of tart lemons, over an even wheaty grain. Flavor is a sugary light phenolic run, with a distant dusty grain. Fairly clean and fresh, and quite quenching. Not a strong alcohol presence. A touch of fusels. Finish is a little chewy and slightly cloying. Goblincat (356), Westland, Michigan, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2004 Pour was a slightly hazy yellow. Not really much in the way of head. Aroma was a little wheaty actually. Flavor was not offensive, but nothing special. I would call it average, or slightly below average. Definitly not a Hop Pocket.
