beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jan 7, 2007 Clear golden pour with a thin white head. Mild aroma and flavor of crisp pilsener malts with floral noble hops and a dry finish. The body is light and the carbonation is lively. The right elements are there but they are not strong enough. Odeed (1666), Bakersfield, California, USA Sep 6, 2006 (another bottle from irisboy.where does he fins this stuff?)clear pilsner body with a white head that swam to the sides of the glass.aroma was a nice mix of caramel, and pilsner wheat.flavor is a mix of tobaco, dust, and a strange aftertaste bite. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Jun 10, 2006 Fruity yeasty with wheat aroma. Taste is apricots and dried fruits, not bad at all for the style that is intended. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 10, 2006 Hazy gold with a small white head; grainy aroma with a light citrus note. Flavor has hoppy sting in the taste and finish. CharlesDarwin (1822), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA May 7, 2006 On Tap at the Brewpub Pale off yellow, with a soapy head of white. Aroma of tart lemons, over an even wheaty grain. Flavor is a sugary light phenolic run, with a distant dusty grain. Fairly clean and fresh, and quite quenching. Not a strong alcohol presence. A touch of fusels. Finish is a little chewy and slightly cloying. Goblincat (356), Westland, Michigan, USA May 9, 2005 Draught, gold-yellow, white head. Little to no aroma. Average lightly hoppy pilsener, as was expected. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA Dec 6, 2004 Tap. Yellow straw coloration. White head. Spicey Saaz hops in aroma. Thin bodied. Very hoppy and dry finish. Really not bad for a pilsner. shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA Nov 29, 2004 Pour was a slightly hazy yellow. Not really much in the way of head. Aroma was a little wheaty actually. Flavor was not offensive, but nothing special. I would call it average, or slightly below average. Definitly not a Hop Pocket.
