beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jan 7, 2007 Pours a clear pale gold color with a thin white head. Boring aroma and flavor of malt and citrus. The body is light with a watery texture and moderate carbonation. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA Aug 20, 2006 very light, easy to drink, great with food, and my wife liked it. if you like light beer, you’ll like this. if you don’t, you’ll still enjoy this one a bit. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Oct 7, 2005 This is interesting, while I can’t say it tastes like a typical light beer, it does just basically taste like a decent pale lager. I guess there is some value there, but it is boring as are most pale lagers. BigNasty (55), South Lyon, Michigan, USA Aug 15, 2005 Tasted as part of sampler, may revise rating when tasted from bottle. For a light lager, OUTSTANDING. But then again, I’m used to the relatively flavorless "lite" beer offerings. The aroma and appearance are along the same lines, maybe a slightly deeper golden color. But the flavor is far better than what I was expecting for a light lager. qdog (201), Cleveland, Mississippi, USA Dec 9, 2004 Draught, light yellow, average lacing, slight floral smell, slight bitterness and dry finish, run of the mill beer. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA Dec 6, 2004 Tap. Pale yellow color. White head. Hoppy aroma. A thinner version of the Pilsner methinks. Very dry and hoppy finish. rkn65 (106), st. clair shores, Michigan, USA Feb 18, 2004 Updated: May 4, 2005For a brewery that just reopened after a tornado destroyed it, a great beer. This is a re-introduction of a beer they discontinued in the 30’s. For a low carb light beer this should be the standard. Loads of flavor and a nice nose. Has a good finish with some floral present. Hard to find for now but I will make the 60 mile trek to get some cases. Some bottles have to much sediment and leaves a bad taste.
