2004 bottle shared by BBB63 on 4/28/06: Pours a clear copper bronze with a thin wispy white head. Dry, grainy earthy malty aroma has some decent authenticity. Body has a mild toasty grainy sweetness turning drier toward the finish. Smooth but bland.

2004 bottle sample from Hampton tasting - Pours amber with a thin head that hangs around awhile. The aroma is light and yeasty. The flavor is lightly malty with a good hops balance and the finish dry. The malts were a little too light though. It needed something more.

2004 Bottle thanks to BBB63: Copper pour a little hazy. Kind of bready with some raisins. Floral hops for sure. The malts were well done, and this had a nice dry finish.

Bottle # 644 of 2004 and shared with the group at the Friday night party, thanks Steve: Brandy hued with a lasting top and very good lace, small floaties. The aroma has notes of grape, cinnamon, spruce, clove, floral hops, roasted and toffee malts, and quite aromatic.

nice flowery tones on top of the bready and sweet malt overtone. Some apple and pear tones prior to the lightly spiced finish. The mouth feel is smooth and lively with a dry finish.

Pretty good stuff that held up with aging, surprising as I really enjoyed it. A beautiful bottle by the way.

Bottle #644/2004. Thanks Mike! The beer pours to a thin transluscent brown body with a tight white head and visible carbonation. The aroma is spruce and fruit loops. Honey Comb cereal too. Spicy spruce. Christmasy. Simply not a huge bock fan...

Bottle: Courtesy of BBB63 at the Hampton Inn Tasting (Friday). Aroma is a litle weak. LIghtly nutty, grass, caramel, and a touch of fruit. Pours a transparent brownish-orange with a small off-white head. Light caramel and light nuttiness with a floral and grassy bitter finish.
