Can, 500 ml, 17.6 P
Appearance: Pours deep, essential and soft malty golden body with some orangy notes, very impressive, carbonation is vivid and intensive, head is initially medium again like in the previous Askania’s not firm, very unstable, foamy and quickly decreasing and finally disappearing totally after about 2 minutes. There is fait to medium lacing.
Aroma: Fat malty, juicy, sweet syrupy, high gravity beer. Not bad aroma as alcoholic content is well hidden and felt only gently but here it is dominated by maltyness, some notes of honey and overriped apple with grains.
Flavour: Very sweet and syrupy, high carbonation and grainy touch on palate with bitter hoppy accents. Rough alcoholic impression at front, later on in nose exposed with alcoholic warmth on palate. Heavy maltyness, barley balanced with not especially distinctive hops. Finish duration is medium to long.
Palate: Body is full, texture is wattery to syrupy, carbonation on palate is moderate - medium, finish feel is grainy, a bit sweet - sticky, lightly astringent and heavy to harsh alcoholic.
