Franklins Silver Lining

Deep murky browns and reds, small off white head. The nose explodes with notes of bitter white grapefruit, pine, evergreen, some pepper, light toffee, and a hint of brown sugar. The flavor is well bittered and meant to be that way! Lots of cascade, centennial, nugget and amarillo tossed about quite freely (per the brewer). Medium bodied, zesty carbonation, crisp, drying, bitter citric finish. You better dig the hops.....

Clear red-copper body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pineapple, pine, grapefruit. Watery, light-medium body, fairly clean. Body seems light relative to the intensity of the flavor. Otherwise, a quite enjoyable, rather bitter beer.
