CaptainCougar (4599), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 16, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 12/6/07: Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin, wispy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malt with some grainy maltiness and earthy piny bittering and flavor hops toward a crisp finish. A pretty decent English pale ale. badlizard (1373), San Diego, California, USA Dec 1, 2007 Tasted at brewery. Hazy orange with no head. Hoppy aroma, sweet toffee taste, and a mild bitterness. beaconstreet (810), Washington DC, USA Nov 13, 2006 Definitely red. It’s an alright, subtley hoppy blend of something or other. Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2006 A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with a fine descrete hop note on a back ground of caramel. BückDich (4491), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 3, 2006 Draught @ Brewpub
Amber color, light head and lacing. Nose of light floral hops, sweet nice malts. The flavor has a humid malty taste. Finishes lightly chemically, something is at the bottom of my glass. I don’t know what it it is, but it’s creeping me out and I’m going to stop drinking it.
