Bottle. A clear golden beer with a big off-white head. The aroma is sweet and of corn, and ashtray. so is the taste. Light body with a dry sparkeling finish.

Not bad at all, very refreshing. Low on yeast and banana-like sweetness. A little watery compared to for example Erdinger alkoholfrei, but not in a bad way, actually works for it’s benefit. Back ehen I wasn’t into hefeweizens, I might’ve said this is one of the best hefeweizens I’ve tasted.

I did this to take a breather in a night of drinking and just to see what it tasted like. I was admitedly a little worried, but didn’t recall ever having an NA German Wheat before. Oddly enough, this was by far the most drinkable NA beer I’ve ever come across before. Preserved some basic elements of a German Wheat, apples and bananas, light wheat. It obviously wasn’t cloudy, but had a very nice head and good lacing. All yeasty notes were absent, but this was neat. It’s an NA that I’d actually drink again at work or wherever real beer doesn’t quite fit. Mouthfeel was a bit thin, although that was to be expected.

Bottle. Bready, metallic aroma. Cloudy copper colour, small unstable head. Very bready flavour with a metallic feel to it. Not directly unpleasant, but way too bready. The mouthfeel is OK and wheaty.

Bottled. Hazy, well-carbonated orange beer with a large, dense, lasting white head. Very malty and grainy aroma, yet with good room for the banana and cloves. The flavor is weaker on the hefe-weissbier flavors, but some banana, citrus, spice and yeast-notes can be found behind the grainy flavor. Lightly cloying, medium body with a grainy and fruity finish. This must be the first (almost) N/A beer I can appreciate, but of course I prefer the normal version. (060730)

Bottle. Large, rich, and creamy eggshell head. Sickly hazy golden-yellow liquid. Aroma of strong grain and light yeast. Like, barnyard grain, nasty. Body is thin but less oily than the line’s Leicht, taste is a slightly milder embodiment of its rancid smell. Very soft watery mouthfeel. This style is just not suitable for alcohol reduction.
