Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. 500 ml - Pours a cloudy deep copper in color. This brew has a rich malty aroma to go with the slight citrus hop character. It has a slight toasty flavor with a small wheat grainyness. It has a medium body and a slightly oily, cloyingly sweet finish. Very nice.

Oct 6, 2008 (Bottle). Grassy wheat aroma. Cloudy mahogany body, small off-white head. Flavor is tart and clean, but tails off abruptly to a non-existent finish. Not memorable.

Sep 27, 2008 Bottled. Dark amberish-orange to brown. brew with rich, dense and firm head. Aroma is intensively banana estheric, yeasty and slightly hoppy in the finish. Flavor has sweetness of fermented fruits and sourness of yeast with slightly bitter finish. Palate is quite smooth, but a bit overly carbonated.

Sep 11, 2008 Pours cloudy brown with a thin, tan head, although I recall the head being thicker when I tried some this unpasteurized in Munich (aka München). Aroma of spices, wheat, and bananas--reminds me of home baked banana bread. Spicy, smoky flavor with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Again, the flavor of the bottled version exported to America is blander than that you can get in Munich. Still...
