| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 500 ml. bottle. Pours huge fluffy off white head of poor duration, over a slightly cloudy brownish (SRM 15-20) body.....nose of slight banana/bubblegum, clove.........tastes initially of sweetish roasted malts (toffee, slight brown sugar), then light lemon and finishing clove.....mouth feel is light, carbonation high, finish is dry. I was disappointed. This is not particularly spicy, nor as rich as I had anticipated. There are many better hefes out there. mcdav2154 (297), Germany

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Aroma of fermented fruit. Dark cloudy apperance. Tastes fermented fruit and jeast. The taste is simular to the speciall taste of belgian strong ales. Not a tasty beer, the fermented fruit is not getting along with the yeast taste at all. This beer hade been in a closet for about three months, the taste could been destroyed by this. Slokop (97), Tilburg, Netherlands
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 14, 2009 A brown beer with a fine but short head. Salty smell and taste. Small and uninteresting palate. Too little bitters in this slightly sweet beer. Disappointing due to higher expectations. MJGG (423), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
