Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Jun 21, 2009 Comes out of the tap a hazy honey-yellow with a decent white head. Rich aroma is wheaty and yeasty with a strong citrus overtone, mainly orange. Refreshing flavor is perfect after being out in hot weather - wheaty and yeasty with a firm orange tone. Texture is fizzy and smooth. This pleasing beer leaves a nice wheaty and fruity finish. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Jun 15, 2009 Poured yellow with white head. Aroma of citrus, nothing else. Taste was of citrus and sweet malt. Nothing really there. thewombat (112), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jun 7, 2009 hazy camel colored. smells yeasty and a bit chemical, fresh, banana fruit flavor, bitter spicy finish with a seltzery carbonation edge on the tongue, refreshing light beer, slitcher (87), Freeport, Illinois, USA Jun 7, 2009 Pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum and spice with flavor the same and a hint of black pepper spice. A little too much carbonation and the body seems a little thin. This is a good representation of the style, but I have had better. Markys (64), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 6, 2009 Aroma of banana and spice. It also has kind of a sour banana flavor. It’s not a bad beer, though I like their dunkel better. ZR2Blazer (46), Roanoke, Virginia, USA Jun 3, 2009 Bottle - pours a cloudy deep yellow, nose of yeast. Some fruit notes, easy to drink, carbonated finish. Ok beer, but I’m not into weizen’s right now. craftycarl21 (510), South Hero, Vermont, USA Jun 2, 2009 Cloudy nectarine pour with minimal head. Fruity aroma- lots of peach, apricot, and yeast. Flavor is unassuming but delicious- classic hefe, but very well crafted and very tasty. Nice palate, stellar example of the style. chrisv10 (335), Denmark May 31, 2009 50 cl bottle poured to weizen glass. Great German Hefeweizen, great aroma and flavor.
