improvjock (92), Namegata-shi, Ibaraki-ken, Japan Nov 28, 2008 On tap at Prost. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head and nice lacing. Banana and citrus on the nose. Pretty smooth on the palate. The flavor is nice and refreshing. Tasty! gerzm22 (107), , Florida, USA Nov 28, 2008 I was very impressed with this beer. It was actually not too much money with a 500ml going for about two bucks USD. The after taste and appearance of this beer were amazingly refreshing
Derek881 (486), Frederick, Maryland, USA Nov 28, 2008 Had this beer on tap at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore, served with a slice of lemon. A bright but cloudy, milky-yellow color with a medium-sized, foamy white head. It had a strong citrus and wheat aroma with some yeast and banana present too; also touches of lemon, straw, and grain. A veru sweet, lemon-fruit, and citrus taste, with some sourness too. A watery, thinner beer with low carbonation, but a somewhat drying finish. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Nov 26, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Very wheaty brew. Looks excellent. Smells aight, a little nast. Same in flavor, but overall it’s mostly a pleasant drinking experience. SeanMacGC (233), Dublin, Ireland Nov 20, 2008 Updated: Jun 29, 2009Bottle. Pours quite an opaque/cloudy golden colour, with sediment swirling, with decent long-living head. Aroma of banana, some citrus, with yeast notes. Similar on the palate, though yeastier, and slight bitterness. Decent enough Hefeweizen. DasGrau (18), Topeka, Kansas, USA Nov 1, 2008 The flavor of this one depends on how you get the yeast off the bottom of the bottle. If you shake it up and get chunks in your glass, it wont be near as good as if you swirl the beer around in the bottle until it is all gone from the bottom and the last 1/4 of the beer poured makes the glass of beer all that more cloudy, and tastes worlds better. I have noticed that you win some and loose some with this one but this one I am having now is a sure winner hence the high rating. garrison (455), Cin. city, Ohio, USA Nov 1, 2008 On tap at ’’Kaldi’s Coffeehouse’’ in Cincinnati, Ohio - This one poured a cloudy, sun-hued hefe with a thin white head of fine-bubbled foam and the requesite ’’spiced banana’’ aroma. Tastewise, it was very ’’bready’’ and rich, a very hefe! marios23 (16), nicosia, Cyprus Oct 31, 2008 Bottle, poured in pint. Very refreshing on a hot Cyprus night. A great hefe, but i prefer Paulaner.
