Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier

The beer that got me into wheats. Had on tap at Stuff yer Face. Golden, cloudy pour with a full bouquet of citrus. Hints of banana peel, and citrus, orange with a lot of spiciness to finish it of f. Very drinkable and refreshing and I tend to order it by the liter :)

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy gold color. Thick, three finger white head. Grassy aroma with hints of bananas and spices. Muted, yeasty flavor with some clove. Finish is clean and dry.

one of my old favorites. P\our hazy golden yellow with thick head. Aroma of orange, banana and a hint of spice and clove. Good hefeweizen flavors. Good beer.

Sweet aroma of citrus and barley. Appearance is light amber, slightly cloudy, with a decent head. The flavor is a typical Hefeweizen with hints of orange, lemon, lime, barley, and perhaps some sugar. Overall, a nice beer. I likey.

Protypical hefeweizen with a spicy kick in the rear! Yeasty aroma leads into the fruit tones. Extemely refreshing brew in the Las Vegas heat!

bottle. Pale, hazy yellow pour, monster head that foams over then tones down pretty quick, leaving a nice healthy layer. Aromas of what you’d expect from a classic here- bananas, cloves, and multiple notes of sweetness in the nose. Flavors of dried bananas, plenty of spicy yeasty notes, and a smooth underlying bready sweetness. Great on the palate- creamy and smooth without any excessive carbonation.

Golden color with long lasting one inch head. Very cloudy. Banana and cloves in the nose. Malty, somewhat chewy entry with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel that meets a ripe banana, honey, lemony, spicy, dry finish with a slightly noticeable alcohol presence and persistent yeastiness. Quenching and crisp.

Bottle. Quickly fading head. Light cloudy amber in color. Wonderful aroma. Citrus in taste. Will buy again. Good wheat beer.
