Pours a cloudy orange-amber with hardly a remnant of a whitish head. (In its defense that seems to be the way they serve beer at The Yard House.) The nose is of big banana and faint clove over a clean wheat. Light to medium-bodied with a soft, wheaty mouthfeel and a clean, lightly dry finish. Sweet wheat and German yeasty esters (banana & light citrus) finishing with a lightly wheaty, clean finish. This is a nice hefe. mirjukka (702), LOHJA, Finland

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Cloudy yellow, thick white head. Aroma is of bananas and cloves. The flavor is of wheat but it almost takes second to a sweet citrusy/yeasty combination. illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville, served in the proper glass by a sssssmokin waitress in white lace stockings. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a white head. Typical banana clove aroma and nice refreshing, but earthy texture (from the yeast). Nice pale wheat malt backbone with balanced accents of clove and citrus, with the right amount of sweetness. Yeasty finish. Nice beer. spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2008 I have tried this beer on tap a few times now so it is time to rate it. Pours cloudy golden with a frothy white head. Smells of a wheat beer but sweeter. Good so far.... The taste is peculiar, as it seems almost minty. Maybe it’s my imagination. Overall, this is one that you order while you’re thinking about your next one. Lalli (156), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 17, 2008 0,5l bottle. Color is rather dark, typical rich head. Nose of wheat and yeast. Flavor is quite heavy for a Weißbier - but not in a bad way. Quite malty. wickedpete (626), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Thanks to Ali for this one. Light cloudy yellow with a creamy layer of white head sitting on top. Aroma has a hint of skunk compliments of the green bottle I suspect. Behind that resides a chewy yeast, lemons, and banana. Light flavor has a load of banana, biscuits, and clove. Palate is light and prickly, making it quite nice and refreshing.
