IPAaLLtHEwAY (136), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jun 21, 2008 Cloudy yellow, thick white head. Aroma is of bananas and cloves. The flavor is of wheat but it almost takes second to a sweet citrusy/yeasty combination. illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jun 20, 2008 Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville, served in the proper glass by a sssssmokin waitress in white lace stockings. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a white head. Typical banana clove aroma and nice refreshing, but earthy texture (from the yeast). Nice pale wheat malt backbone with balanced accents of clove and citrus, with the right amount of sweetness. Yeasty finish. Nice beer. spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA Jun 20, 2008 Bottle and tap. Three fingers and 100 degrees of heat! Need I say more. A superior example of excellence! TheElder (49), DeSoto, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 I have tried this beer on tap a few times now so it is time to rate it. Pours cloudy golden with a frothy white head. Smells of a wheat beer but sweeter. Good so far.... The taste is peculiar, as it seems almost minty. Maybe it’s my imagination. Overall, this is one that you order while you’re thinking about your next one. Lalli (149), Helsinki, Finland Jun 17, 2008 0,5l bottle. Color is rather dark, typical rich head. Nose of wheat and yeast. Flavor is quite heavy for a Weißbier - but not in a bad way. Quite malty. wickedpete (625), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA Jun 15, 2008 Thanks to Ali for this one. Light cloudy yellow with a creamy layer of white head sitting on top. Aroma has a hint of skunk compliments of the green bottle I suspect. Behind that resides a chewy yeast, lemons, and banana. Light flavor has a load of banana, biscuits, and clove. Palate is light and prickly, making it quite nice and refreshing. Narnad (682), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Jun 10, 2008 Pours from the bottle with a nice white head and cloudy orange in color. The aroma for the beer is more on the banana scent with a clove undertone to it. Very light in flavor with the banana coming through more than spices with no hops. A little light on the mouth wheat feel with a slight watery feel from this bottle. Overall a decent beer but I would imagine it would be much better on tap or fresh. I have had better but this is pretty decent. BiddleBrau (303), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Jun 9, 2008 Cloudy yellow with dense white head. Phenol, banana aroma. Spicy flavor. Carbonation of this brew enhances the refreshing flavor. Not my top Munich Weiss but I certainly wouldn’t turn it down. On tap at The Shep’
