Underhook (162), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA May 17, 2008 Updated: May 25, 2008Quality Hefeweizen. Aroma is present but not overly influential. Flavor is very good, but not nearly as complex or enjoyable as a hefeweizen such as Hacker-Pschorr. More citrus than some other hefeweizens. Quallity hefeweizen, but falls short in some areas to other hefeweizens. A bit overrated in my personal opinion- there are better hefeweizens out there. BeerEssential (96), Massachusetts, USA May 17, 2008 Coudy yellow with a fluffy white head, which quickly disappears and leaves little to no lacing. Great, fresh, citrus/spice aroma. Taste is very much along the lines of a Hoegaarden or Hacker-Pschorr, clean, refreshing with a long citrus end. I was pleasantly surprised. A great wheat beer, esp. for the summer. JohnnyJ (1282), Carlsbad, California, USA May 16, 2008 Pours a cloudy gold color with billowy white head. Wheat bread, banana, citrus, fruit, and lemon zest. A nice refreshing German hefe. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 15, 2008 Colour is a bright hazey golden colour with an enormous white top. The aroma is so natural and wheaty, sweet and enticing. Tasting is very pleasent, light and bubbly with great citrusy fruit. Great beer to have around. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA May 14, 2008 Draft: Cloudy golden colored pour with large white head. Fruity, bready aroma. Fruity, spicy finish. Not bad at all. aspeese (28), Dallas, Texas, USA May 13, 2008 Great taste, cloudy color and a nice foamy head. A great overall hefe that won’t leave you full dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA May 12, 2008 Cloudy light amber with tall white head. Strong banana, clove, lemon aromas.
