A good Hef, but a little bit sour to me. I taste a bit of clove in this, which kind of limits this beers satisfaction to me. The sourness combined with the clove brings this beer down IMO, but still a good hef. I’ll drink it when I can’t find Paulaner.

[Bottle] Pours hazy orange with a decent white head. Aroma is the usual banana and clove, but also a fair amount of grainy malt. Taste is a little weak with the same flavors as the taste. Medium-thin mouthfeel with a very short finish. Perhaps this was an older bottle but I really did not care for it much. I’ll have to try it again and give it a rerate some time.

(bottle) Pours a hazy orange with a white head that lasts. Aroma is of light banana, but mainly clove and yeast. Taste is lightly sweet upfront, but then switches to some clove and finishes with some wheat twang, light lemon, and yeast on the finish. The mouthfeel is pretty thick, but the finish is far too short. Not bad, but not great, I’d like to try a really fresh bottle.

Awesome!!! This is truly a beer alone on an island. First the aroma is just plain awesome. It’s got hints of banana, maybe some sort of spice, maybe its some sort of malt charachter. It’s appearance is just perfect. Huge fluffy head. It’s a cloudy color yellow. It’s flavor is just outrageous. It’s got a banana, spice, wheaty taste. It’s mouth feel is perfectly smooth. This is like cream in a glass.

This is a very good wheat beer. The color is a little lighter than it could be, but still very good. The aroma is not as strong as some others. the taste is excellent, and the head is perfect.

Bottle...very pleasant beer, somewhat light in flavor, but not thin. Refreshing! Dull and cloudy in color, yellow-gold. Not too overwhelming or sweet, just right.

The pour was a turbid brown with lots of golden highlights streaming through. The head was foamy white and didn’t hang around long. Spotty lacing. The aroma was wheat and yeast dominating over mild citrus. The flavor followed suit with some mild spice coming into play to give it some nice balance. The body was on the thin side and it was a fairly enjoyable beer.
