wheatfreak (41), Marinette, Wisconsin, USA Mar 24, 2008 Pours the prototypical hefeweizen head that doesn’t dissipate. Citrusy taste with a high carbonation zing. Finishes with a little more of a bitter taste than most hefes. Not bad jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Mar 24, 2008 A tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. A lot of carbonation, Sweet, fruity aroma with citrus. Wheat, bananas tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Mar 23, 2008 0,5 l bottle, in La Manga, Spain. Hazy orange color, lovely big white head. Aroma is citric and fruity, with yeast and wheat. Flavor is fruity (banana), with yeast, sweet malt and citrus. A nice weiss. mink45k (7), Cedartown, Georgia, USA does not count Mar 22, 2008 My favorite beer. Has a rich, creamy head that when penetrated by the beer, results in a malty wheat style with hints of pumpkin nad spice. Great balance and taste. fearnobeer1976 (19), peshtigo, Wisconsin, USA Mar 22, 2008 Had this out of tap and I hated it. Something wasnt right. Went and bought a bottle of this and loved it. deft (79), Sweden Mar 22, 2008 Bottle at Haket 2008-02-08. Cloudy light colour with plenty of creamy head. Sweet, fruity aroma with citrus. Wheat, bananas. Highly carbonated. travita (1851), Frisco, Texas, USA Mar 21, 2008 Thick creamy head invites the drinker, but the color is slightly unappealing. Smells like a good wheat beer. Taste is calm and mellow with a light fruity flavor.
Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Mar 20, 2008 Very nice hefe here...the bottle I got was just a little skunky but it didn’t affect the flavor too much. Looked really good, nice and cloudy but as I said the smell was a little skunk mixed with banana and a biscuity smell. Taste was great, just like a good banana nut bread.
Overall, I liked this one.
