patrickfannon (274), Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours an odd, hazy gold. Gorgeous, fat white head. Aroma of clean wheat, spice, clove, and a hint of yeast. Medium body with a sturdy finish. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Weissbier (6), California, USA does not count Sep 13, 2009 One of the best hefeweizen beers out there. The banana and clove flavors are much more bold and stand out more than a typical hefeweizen. ilves (30), Finland Sep 5, 2009 It’s a "trüb" beer with an average head. Nicely carbonated. The wheat flavor is very much like "banana". Finishes smooth and wheathy. This one is ok but why does it cost more than other beers of the same "Hefe-Weissbier"-kind? Maybe a little too refined... keidjxz (41), Irvine, California, USA Sep 3, 2009 Updated: Oct 6, 2009Cloudy golden yellow color with a thick creamy head. Great refreshing wheat flavor with a little fruitiness and a pleasant yeast aroma. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2009 Have had from the bottle and on tap, tap being better. Typical profile and flavor with banana and clove, but well executed. Sonicdescent (374), Donora, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 24, 2009 Initial Appearnce on this one is very nice, as most of this style are. Golden liquid with a very thick and frothy head. Good carbonation. Aroma is light spice over clove/banana. Taste is thankfully light on the spice..but unfortunately pretty light on everything. Refreshing and good on the palate with a medium body and high carbonation..but pretty bland. HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Aug 22, 2009 500mL bottle poured into Weissbier glass. Pours deep golden with thick white head. Spicy fruit aroma, nice thick bready taste. Another solid weissbier.
