Bottle at The Cove Fishery Grill, Lancaster, PA...pours gold in color with a full complimenting head...smell offered hints of banana, mild spice, musty wheat...taste of banana, dull citrus fruit, clove...still not a big fan of the Hefe but a very easy drinking beer, went well with the fare.

This is absolutely one of my favorite hefe-weissbiers. This fine beer pours thick and cloudy with a wonderfully full, creamy head. The aromas of banana, citrus and butter are very forward and distinct. The beer drinks smoothly with a hint of sweetness, and the finish is always subtle and pleasant. Very easy to drink. One of the world’s best beers. Enjoy!

Picked this up on tap at the Steinkeller in Oxford OH and nabbed the commemorative Xmas class to boot. This weissbier packs a lot of flavor and really stays smooth throughout. Maybe the top hefe I’ve had (though I am not generally a fan of the style).

12oz bottle part of variety "beers of the world" pack. pours a very clean cloudy buttery orange with a nice full head. can smells some buttery aromas mixed in banana is very apparent in the aroma and it invites a taste.. initial hit to the palate is very light but filled iwith a cornicopia of fruitiness.. bananas, an hint of apple and a slight buttery wheat lemon... smooth all the way down and by far exemplifys what a good slow brewed hefe should taste like. Im wasnt a hefe fan until I had this one. great finish.

An easy to drink hefeweizen. Quite soft and refreshing, not overpowering in any way. Has the essential banana and clove flavors along with some lemony zing. A little bit on the sweet side

One of the best Hefe-Weiss out there. Bottled. Poured into a Dortmunder glass just for the heluvit. Formed an outrageous rocky, fluffy head, which brought oohs-and-aahs from others present. Underneath said head is a delicious, light, fruity brew. Slight banana, lemon, and grassy(?) flavors balance well with the overall wheatiness. A fine beer with nice packaging and presents well. Want to impress average, crap-beer drinkers? Introduce them to real beer? Start with this one. It is not so hearty as to offend a limited imagination, but has it where it counts.

Thick, full, and strong head. Cloudy yellow to brown colors. Very first smell is a sweet banana aroma. I Definatly taste banana flavors with orange and lemon flavors. This beer feels is smooth and foamy as it goes down giving a good compliment to it’s rich bouquet and full body.
